My database has a date field named "LastUpdate". The "now" is baseportal's time stamp. Use the word "now" to represent the current date/time. I update every entry at the same time using Description==*. You will have to search a bit differently if you want each entry to be updated separately. Perhaps something like: mod "FirstName==Mike", ["LastUpdate", now], "/youraccount/yourtemplate"; |

It'll explain how to format and search dates. http://baseportal.com/doku/index.html#a36 If this still doesn't help, send me the code that you have for your template/database and maybe I can help.
